Love for the Orphan is an organization designed to give financial support and companionship to orphans. We share inspiration, books, courses, community gatherings, and opportunities to orphans to connect with others who can offer them personal development: spiritual, intellectual, emotional, health and fitness, professional, and financial literacy.
Orphans and those that love them use this site to be uplifted, find encouraging resources and programs, to connect with like-minds, or those with a heart to uplift orphans.
Our target audience consists of foster parents, adopted parents, educators, ministry leaders, philanthropists, and orphans. Thru Love for the Orphan, we’re able to provide resources and educations that allows our orphan community to be served well.
Melinda is a 30-55 year old middle class woman and foster parent and adopted parent. She has a deep love for orphans, but sometimes struggles to understand how to serve her children well.
She influences buying decisions at many local organizations that serve orphans: foster care centers, with social workers, with parents who are trying to re-unite with their children, at her local church, and in her community. She recommends books, courses, counseling programs, retreats, and other resources to help those who support orphans.
Kennedy is between newborn and 18 years old. She’s lost her parents due to death, drug abuse, or mental instability. She’s been in and out of the foster home and family’s homes. Her friends have been raped, physically beat, neglected, starved, and experienced many other hardships. She struggles to understand her potential, to be confident, and trust people.
She’s eager to see life differently, so she enjoys reading books, attending seminars, taking courses, and interacting with people who honestly want to help rebuild her. She influences the buying decisions of her peers, those that want to feed her eagerness to be a successful adult, and organizations who want to help her and children like her.
